Kind, welcoming, talented, stylish, and fun are just a few of the words I can use to describe the Sligh family. Oh and joyful! You can just feel the joy they have as you take a look at their new PKP portraits.
Having them in our downtown Frederick studio was so much fun! We used the exposed brick wall and a black backdrop to create these photos. And seriously how beautiful is this family?! I can't decide which shots I like more, the fun candid ones or the serious swagger shots---I love the energy in both so much!
This family session was so special because Tom and Zohnette are celebrating 20 years married this year! Just look at the love they have for each other in their couples photos...not to mention the love they have for their children! They both cherished the special time they had creating these photos with their kids---and it meant so much to me to be able to capture it.
Having the session in our studio also gave the Sligh's the opportunity to check out our sample artwork and albums, right away they loved the metal prints for their home.
