At Pearly Kate Photography we pride ourselves in being a full-service photography studio that helps our clients from the beginning to the end. From pre-planning your session, capturing your portraits to creating custom framed artwork and heirloom albums, we are here for you!
Our studio is located in beautiful, downtown Frederick and offers as a wonderful backdrop for headshots, portraits, family sessions, in-person consultations, and ordering sessions. Our versatile space features an 8ft backdrop, professional lighting, a brick accent wall, and samples of the premium-quality products we offer.

About Kate
I grew up in Long Island, NY, and attended Ithaca College where I studied Holistic Studies: Creative Writing, Dance and Spirituality. I moved to Maryland in 2012 and now reside in Walkersville, MD with my sweet son, Kai.
Since I was a child, I had a dream of being a photographer and in 2014 I finally went for it.....and I will never look back!

I have had a passion for photography from the start and I believe photos can be an incredibly meaningful and valuable way to capture each season of life.

To me photography is so much more than just showing up and taking pictures. I believe in building relationships and investing time to get to know my clients---I am such a people person! I find this first step is essential in creating a truly personalized photography experience.

OUR TEAM
LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER ​ Kali has a keen eye for photography that she has developed since an early age. She is truly gifted, uniquely creative, and a trusted lead photographer with Pearly Kate Photography. She has been with the team since 2016 and has photographed over 20 weddings with us. Not only is she crazy talented, she is such a joy and delight to work with!
OWNER AND LEAD PHOTOGRAPHER Kate is involved in every aspect of the company from the initial consultation, editing the images, to personally designing artwork and albums. Her favorite part? Getting to know her clients and being able to create a truly personalized experience. Her goal is to artistically capture the beauty and humanity of her subjects, preserving a special moment in time to be enjoyed for generations.
STUDIO MANAGER Kourtney is the organizational key to our success at Pearly Kate Photography. From emails, contracts, web and graphic design to finances, and beyond! Not only will she always be able to make you laugh, she is also truly talented at managing our many projects and ensuring ease, creativity, and organization of our day-to-day operations. She also makes a mean cup of coffee!
